Pacific kept pace early and held an 11-7 lead on Carson Bartlett's trey four minutes into the first half, but the tide quickly turned when the Pioneers found their three-point touch. P.J. Taylor gave L&C their first lead at 16-15 at the 12:09 mark. The game was tied at 21-21 when Taylor and Hollins hit back-to-back treys that put the Pioneers up for good at 27-23. Adam Brickley built the advantage to seven points with his trey with 3:42 to go as L&C went into halftime with a 41-36 lead.

The Boxers found themselves suddenly cold to start the second half, making just three shots from the field in the first eight minutes to the stanza. The Pioneers outscored Pacific 15-6 during the stretch and went ahead 18 when a Hollins' three-point play made the score 60-42. Two minutes later, Meeuwsen gave the Pioneers their biggest lead of 20, 65-45 with his three-pointers at the 9:38 mark.

Lewis & Clark spent much of the final 10 minutes milking the clock, limiting any chance Pacific had for a comeback. Carson Bartlett managed to cut the deficit to 14 points when his lay-in with 4:45 to go while A.J. Gaulton's (Sr., Pleasant Hill, Ore.) jumper with 1:09 left cut the deficit to its final margin of 12 points.
