ACE Board rents theaters for "New Moon"

Ace Board has rented two theaters in the Cornelius 9 Cinema to give Pacific students the opportunity to see the midnight premiere of "New Moon."
Tickets are on sale now for the November 20 midnight premiere. Interested students may purchase a ticket for one dollar in the Pacific Information Center and must bring their Boxer Card to the premiere.
According to Derek Naegeli, the Arts and Sciences Student Senate Vice President of Programming, the senate chose to spend $1200 of its budget on the event because they like "to give students a chance to enjoy movies and by helping to cover their admission we allow a larger group to do this. Our previous midnight movies have also been a big hit especially when the movies are very popular."
"New Moon" is the second movie in the Twilight Saga, based upon the bestselling novels by Stephanie Meyer about a vampire and human girl who fall in love in the small town of Forks, Washington. The movie stars Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Kristin Stewart as Bella Swan and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black.
