H1N1 Vaccine shortage continues

Earlier this fall, Student Health Center Director Kathryn Eisenbarth said the center expected to receive a shipment of the H1N1 vaccine by early November. However, circumstances have changed.
"The vaccine is coming into the state at a slower rate than originally anticipated," said Eisenbarth.
According to her, there are only five manufacturers that produce the H1N1 vaccine and all of them have struggled to produce the amount they had originally promised. The short supply at Pacific's health center is part of a national trend, but Eisenbarth said that she expects the supply

Whenever a retailer wants to sell MORE of anything they PRETEND there's a shortage. This is a classic sales tactic that works because humans always want something when they perceive it to be in short supply. (Continued…)

....and here's some added info: It was Ms. Kathleen Sebelius...H.H.S. secretary that helped usher through the legislation that prevents anyone from suing the federal government and or any drug/vaccine manufacturer for any side affect they might incur from any drug/vaccine used during a declared pandemic or otherwise.
