A new club at Pacific, the Cascade Climate Network held a rally on the corner of Cedar Street and Pacific Avenue on Friday, May 8.
"It was part of a longer project that Cascade Climate Network has been working on regarding liquefied natural gas, which is a fossil fuel that we don't want in Oregon," said CCN president Nick Englefreide.
"Our message was that we want renewable energy that will create green jobs instead of more fossil fuel projects like LNG."
