It's been building up to this all summer.
After numerous seasonal blockbuster disappointments (I'm looking at you, Indiana Jones) and a few decent superhero adventures, this flashy but often predictable movie season has been awaiting a film that would live up to its hype and please audiences and critics alike with intelligence, thrills and an emotional resonance that would stick with theater-goers long after the credits roll.

Portland State is planning the construction of a new building for the School of Business Administration in order to meet increasing demands for space.
The new building will be located at the southwest corner of Market Street and Southwest Park, and is slated to cover the entire block. The space is currently home to the Harder House and the Extended Studies buildings, as well as a five-story student residence, the Parkway building.

Fueled by the recent decision of head football coach Jerry Glanville to not renew the scholarships of at least eight players, Portland State student government is striving to improve the way student-athletes are treated.
According to ASPSU President Hannah Fisher, student-athletes are being used for their athletic ability and graduate without the opportunity to fully exercise their intellect or find their passion for their future.

Beaver fans will soon have another reason to cheer.
OSU will build a track and field facility that is expected to be available for use in 2010. Along with the new track facility, there are plans for the expansion of the women's track and field program as well as the eventual reintroduction of the men's program.
